Address: 7th Floor Siam Discovery Centre, Rama 1 Road

By Skytrain: Go to Siam BTS station, and then it is a short walk. See map opposite.

Imperial World Ice Skating

Admission:

150 Thai Baht ($5) for 90 minutes including skate hire.

Description:

30 by 60 metres rink that hosts the annual Thailand National Championship. Figure skating and ice-hockey classes and clubs available. Imperial World is the only Olympic sized rink in Bangkok.

Getting There:

Address: 5th Floor Imperial World Shopping Centre, 999 Sukhumvit Road

By skytrain and taxi: Imperial World Ice Skating is located outside the area covered by the mass transit system. Take the sky train to BTS On Nut station and travel onwards by taxi or bus.

Description:

Ice rink within the atrium of the world’s third largest shopping centre. This is a narrow rink, and the smallest of the 3 rinks available in Bangkok. Good for small kids, but not so great for people who can skate. Also the constant announcements from the shopping mall might drive you crazy.
